Lloyd Lum
Lloyd “Pake” G.L. Lum died June 20, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 69. Born on Sept. 25, 1940, in Wailua Homesteads, he was a musician with Smith’s Motor Boat.
He is survived by his brothers Benjamin (Mona) Lum, Joseph Lum and Raymond (Jesse) Lum; sisters Ewa (Arthur) Shak, Christina Ikeda, Lydia Au, Ada (Ronald) Conching, Bette (George) Takahashi and Francine Castro; hanai brother John “Big John” Kauo and the Lihi family.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Lihi boat ramp.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
James Yamauchi
James Kikuo Yamauchi of Lihu‘e died June 4, 2010, at his home at age 81. Born on Aug. 10, 1928, in Lihu‘e, he retired from the County of Kaua‘i as a construction inspector.
He is survived by his wife Sumie Yamauchi; son Glenn (Yolanda) Yamauchi; daughter Dale Yamauchi; one grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services were held.

Richard Ihara
Richard Hisashi Ihara of Lihu‘e died May 9, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 77. Born on Aug. 7, 1932, in Kapaia, he was a maintenance worker with Westin Kaua‘i.
He was preceded in death by his parents Muneo and Hatsuko Ihara; sisters Ayako Neifert and Akie Moribe.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Ihara; daughters Debbie (Randal) Valenciano of Lihu‘e and Shari Ihara of Kona, Hawai‘i; four grandchildren; brothers Allen Ihara and Wayne (Mitzie) Ihara both of Lihu‘e; sisters Kimie (Gene) Sommerfeld of Oklahoma and Patricia (Alan) Ticala of O‘ahu; mother-in-law Misako Kawamoto of Koloa; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., services to follow, on Saturday, June 26, at Lihu‘e Missionary Church.
Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.

Kazue Kawamoto
Kazue “Kachan” Kawamoto, 88, died June 3, 2010 at her home in Lihu‘e with her children in attendance. She was a barber for 58 years and the proprietor of Kawamoto Barber Shop.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sadao Kawamoto, and daughter, Susan Kawamoto.
She is survived by her daughter Ann (James Martin) Kawamoto; sons, Wesley Kawamoto and Miles (Karene) Kawamoto; grandson, Reid Kawamoto; sister, Sueko (Harris) Takiguchi and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Lihu‘e Christian Church, with visitation at 3:30 p.m. and services celebrated at 4:30 p.m.
Casual attire suggested and family graciously declines monetary gifts (koden).
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the Kawamoto family with the arrangements.
Pacita Corpuz
Pacita “Nani” Nievera Corpuz of Puhi died June 6, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 78. Born on February 1, 1932, in Santa Ana, Manila, Philippines, she retired as a field worker with Lihu‘e Sugar Plantation.
She was preceded in death by her husband Simplicio Corpuz; stepson George Corpuz; sisters Milagros Robles and Conchita Nievera; brothers Salvador Nievera and Alfredo Nievera.
She is survived by her children Edita “Didi” (John) Lung of Las Vegas, Nev., Calvin (Liberty) Corpuz of Puhi, Emeline “Rose” (Calvin) Lalin of Wailua Homesteads, Evelyn (Donald) Gonsalves of Lihu‘e and Julie (Michael) Broyles of Hanapepe; stepchildren Jay (Bennie) Dela Cruz of Seal Beach, Calif., Josephine (Tony) Gerardo of O‘ahu, Larry (Estrella) Corpuz of Castle Rock, Colo., and Peter (Marjie) Corpuz of Sequoia, Calif.; sisters Cecilia (Jr.) Anchoris and Remidios (Roger) Remenente; brother Romi (Rose) Nievera all of Alberta, Canada; 30 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 8 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m., on Saturday, June 26, at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.

Fay Honjo
Fay M. Honjo of Lihu‘e died June 19, 2010, at her home at age 66. Born on July 30, 1943, in Hanapepe, she was a clerk with MidPac Auto Center, formally known as Garden Island Motors.
She is survived by her husband Herbert Honjo; daughters Tammie (Russell) Uyeda of Honolulu, Mitzi (Wade) Yamamoto of Koloa and Paige (Cleve) Javier of Lihu‘e; grandchildren Tobi Yamamoto, Courtney Uyeda, Lyndsey Uyeda, Sydney Uyeda and Drake Javier; sisters Edith Ko of Las Vegas, Linda Momohara and Janice Momohara both of Hanapepe; brothers-in-law Richard Shiraishi of Honolulu and Anthony Jim of Hanapepe; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from noon to 2 p.m., service at 2 p.m., on Friday, June 25, at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery Pavilion. Burial to follow.

Gloria Acosta Robles Agcaoili of Koloa died June 1, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 70. Born on June 28, 1939, in Brgy. #4, San Simon, Bacarra, IN, Philippines, she was a vendor for Sunshine Market.
She was preceded in death by her husband Florencio Agcaoili; parents Tomas Sr. and Feliciana Robles; brothers Buenaflor Robles Sr. and Imperial Robles; brother-in-law Manuel Agcaoili and sister-in-law Rosalina Robles.
She is survived by her children Albert (Jayne) Agcaoili of Koloa, Noel (Jeanalyn) Agcaoili of Lihu‘e, Oliver Agcaoili of Koloa, James Agcaoili of Koloa, Filmer (Valerie) Agcaoili of Waimea and Denley (Ama) Agcaoili of Honolulu; grandchildren Ashley Agcaoili of Las Vegas, Nev., Alana Agcaoili, Keano Agcaoili and Ashton Agcaoili; brothers Bienvenido Robles of Koloa and Tommy (Benelyn) Robles of Milpitas, Calif.; sisters Erlinda Agcaoili of ‘Ele‘ele and Bonnie (Romulo) Balbin of Lihu‘e; sisters-in-law Domie Robles, Felicidad Robles and Emilia Jacinto of Koloa; numerous brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
