The Republican Women’s Club of Kaua‘i has invited the community to attend a special presentation next week given by Jamie Story of The Grassroot Institute of Hawai‘i, a news release states.
Her presentation will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, at The Brick Oven Pizza in Kapa‘a.
The mission of the Grassroot Institute of Hawai‘i is to promote individual liberty, the free market and limited accountable government, with the goal of achieving a more free and prosperous Hawai‘i, the release says. Through research papers, policy briefings, commentaries and conferences, the Institute seeks to educate and inform Hawai‘i’s policymakers, news media and the general public. As Hawai‘i’s only free-market think tank, the Institute takes no government funding and instead relies on the contributions of hundreds of individuals, small businesses and private foundations.
The cost to attend is $17 which will include salad, bread, pizza and dessert luncheon buffet, non-alcoholic drink, tax and tip. Contact Sandi Sterker at 332-0660 to reserve your seat or for more information.
