LIHU‘E — Registration for the Team Soccer Direct summer soccer camp can still be done for Kaua‘i Soccer Association and American Youth Soccer Organization players.
The four-day camp starts June 14 and runs through June 17 at the Island School soccer complex, hosted by the Kaua‘i Soccer Association in conjunction with Team Soccer Direct.
Options are available for a half-day camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, or a full-day camp which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the four days.
Additionally, there is a high school camp which runs from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., states a press release.
The camp’s curriculum was developed by George Kuntz, UC Irvine men’s head soccer coach and AYSO 889 parent coach and HYSA director of coaching.
Boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 17 are eligible for the camp, and will be grouped according to age and skill levels.
Registration fee is $95 per player for the half-day for KSA and AYSO players, and $155 per player for the full-day camp for KSA and AYSO players. Players in the high school camp will be assessed $70 per player.
Registration fees also include a camp T-shirt and certificate, and no refunds will be distributed unless the camp is cancelled.

The Team Soccer Direct staff is selected for their ability to coach, mentor and relate to youth soccer players, and previous camps have included collegiate players and coaches.
