Ed Kawamura said the 12th Hawai‘i floating lantern ceremony will be re-broadcast on KHNL, June 13 starting at 10 p.m. for all of us who could not make it to O‘ahu. Ed missed the Memorial Day service because he was attending the ceremony and Kaua‘i Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. made it to Hanapepe Kaua‘i Veterans’ Cemetery, but was looking at catching a plane to attend the ceremony on O‘ahu.
If you missed the Mustang All Stars game, Wednesday, you missed out on Jabba Garcia’s “Tinfoil Special.” He also had ‘ahi poke bowl, chili, and Ice Puppies for good prices. The Tinfoil Special? How about shrimp and scallops? Jabba (he was at Thursday’s Bronco All Stars game in Hanapepe) said he was all ready for Game 3, but that didn’t happen since Lihu‘e won the series in a great comeback Wednesday.
Welcome to Kaua‘i, Ken Tangjian and Clay Tang (is he coming for the Kaua‘i Hospice Concert in the Sky?) who are playing some great basketball at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
OK, time to check out Game 2 of the Bronco All Stars, and can you believe? There is a window to visit Brad Hiranaka and the Kaua‘i Youth Football bowl game in Kapa‘a as well!
