Support for scholars

Shawn Smith of Falko Partners, representing Larry Bowman, left, presents a check of $25,000 to Dr. Lyle Robinson, center, chair of the Kaua‘i Pacific School board, and Dr. Richard Stark, new headmaster, Wednesday morning in Kilauea. Robinson said the funds, coming in time to welcome Stark to the campus from Texas, will be used for scholarships. Stark arrived here for a visit to the campus a few days ago and will return with his family in time for the school’s fall reopening. The Kaua‘i Pacific School has more than 60 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through grade four.
