The Extreme Strikers in the Girls Under 10 division finished their Kaua‘i Soccer Association spring season with an undefeated record following their 2-0 edge over the Blazing Angels for the division championship.
“Not only were the Extreme Strikers undefeated, they did not allow a score,” said William Trugillo, coach of the Onipa‘a program. “I think their closest game was 2-0 and they did not allow a goal all season.”
Donna Palmer, coach of the Extreme Strikers said at least eight of the 12 games the girls played in were shutouts.
“The girls had an outstanding season,” Palmer said in an e-mail. “Undefeated to the end!”
Palmer said one of the team dads put together a little video of the team and has it on youtube.
“It is a great little video — a must-see,” Palmer said.
