Wendy Rosare
Wendy Leinani Rosare of Koloa died May 12, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born on Jan. 10, 1958, in Lihu‘e, she attended Easter Seals/Arc and Hoohena.
She was preceded in death by her brother Chuck Rosare; fathers Joe Rosare and John Costa Ayres.
She is survived by her mother Gladys “Aunty Lani” Costa Ayres; brothers Joe Rosare Jr. of Kaua‘i; Corey (Kathy) Rosare of Kaua‘i; Terry Rosare of Kaua‘i; sisters Ja Nell (Pinko) Efhan of Arizona, Theresa Rosare of Arizona; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of life at 10 a.m., on Monday, May 24, at Aloha Church in Lihu‘e.

Fidela Yesan
Fidela Yesan of ‘Ele‘ele died May 16, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 82. Born on Aug. 27, 1927, in the Philippines, she was a housekeeper for Sheraton Hotel.
She is survived by her sons Pascual (Virginia) Yesan of Kona, and Romeo Yesan of ‘Ele‘ele; daughters Evelyn Frazer of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mila Siapol of San Diego, Calif.; siblings Mercedes Urbanez of Kona and Luz Nolasco of San Francisco, Calif.; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, May 22, at Hanapepe Veterans Cemetery Pavilion.

Georgia Poppin of Kilauea died May 9, 2010.
She is survived by her children, their families, three sisters and their families and many friends.
Memorial service at 11:30 a.m., on Sunday, May 23, at North Shore Christian Church on Kilauea Lighthouse Road.
Robbie Pa
Robbie Louise Smith Pa of Princeville, died May 14, 2010, at her home at age 88. Born on July 3, 1921, in El Paso, Texas, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Erwin Stentz, Harold “Smitty” Smith and David Pa.
She is survived by her sons Robert Stentz and James (Brenda) Stentz; hanai son Arturo Banuelas; daughters Darrilyn Gallagher, Barbara (Jerry) Marcel and Joann (Robert) Green; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Celebration of life Mass at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, May 19, at Saint William Catholic Church in Hanalei. Burial will be private.

James Abihai
James Sonny Abihai of Anahola died April 18, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 46. Born on Jan. 3, 1964, on O‘ahu, he was the front desk manager at The Cliffs at Princeville.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Abihai Sr. and grandmother Myrtle Lee.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather Mary Ellen (Tom) Abihai-Gonsalves of Anahola; brothers Joseph (Lana) Abihai Jr. of Maui and Willy (Clara) Abihai of Kalaheo; sister Josephine (Ben) Kali Jr. of ‘Ele‘ele; hanai children Malia (Brian) Imaoka of Kealia, Kuulei (Lumbo) Kali, Ipo Kali and Krysta Kali all of ‘Ele‘ele; grandfather Wah Quan Lee of Koloa; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 22, at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home with viewing from 9 to 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.

Gregg Dee Chaz Kapena O Ke Kai Mawae Bridges died May 9, 2010, at age 14. He was born on April 24, 1996.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Levi Mawae Sr. and Roi Bridges; mama Pua Niau; grandmothers Loke Mawae of Kekaha and Maxine Bridges of California.

Les Navales of Gardena, Calif., died April 15, 2010, in Gardena, Calif., at age 49. Born on Sept. 27, 1960, in Lihu‘e, he was a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his father Charlie Navales.
He is survived by his mother Connie Navales-Maglasang; stepfather Eddie Maglasang; brothers Michael (Joan) Navales of Honolulu and Wendall (Pope) Navales of Koloa; sisters Charlene (Chris) Gammerino of Koloa and Lori (LaFrance) Navales; hanai brother Larry (Brandy) Hanson of California; stepbrothers and stepsisters Monica, Liz, Anson and Baylen Maglasang of California; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Catherine “Cathy” Busaan Parinas of Waimea, Kaua‘i, died May 3, 2010, at Queen’s Medical Center at age 37. Born on Nov. 23, 1972, in Waimea, Kaua‘i, she was a certified nurse’s aide for Nursefinders.
She was preceded in death by her father Domingo Parinas.
She is survived by her son Austin Parinas-Kenney of Waimea; daughters Sheena Parinas of Waimea and Chalissah Parinas Kenney of Waimea; mother Amancia (Sonny Bacio) Bunsaan Parinas of Waimea; sisters Marcelina (Donato) Parinas of Kekaha and Josefina (Amancio) Johnson of California; life-long companion Jon Nakashima of Hanapepe; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
