• A story in Friday’s edition entitled “Dog owners: sit, stay” should state that Councilman Daryl Kaneshiro’s silence during a motion to defer Bill 2354 was meant to disagree with the motion. He said he was “ready to move forward,” explaining that he wanted the bill to have passed Thursday, as it was written.
• The Saturday article titled “Stiffer penalties may await those harming monk seals” should state that the reward amount offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the seal killer at Kaumakani is currently $12,500.
