KALAHEO — The microphone mamas and makeup mistresses will be there, said Pat Gegen, volunteering with the crew for “Annie Jr.,” a production by the Kalaheo School Drama Club which opens Friday.
Curtain time for the four performances is at 7 p.m., but guests can show up early to enjoy the food offerings which will also be available at the school’s cafeteria.
The curtain rises on the annual production directed by Marley Madayag on Friday, Saturday, next Friday and Saturday.
Gegen said at the food booth there will be offerings of hot dogs, chili and rice, and a “lot of candies.” A candy bar purchase will enable the shopper a chance to win a Tiffany locket which will be presented during next Saturday’s performance.
“It’s just like the one Annie wears in the play,” Gegen said.
Admission to each of the presentations is $5 for adults with children 12 and Under admitted free.
