LIHU‘E — Effective Monday, the HI-5 bottle-redemption center located in the Arzadon Industrial Center in Kapa‘a at 962 Kipuni Way, has changed its days of operation, a county news release states.
The HI-5 center is now open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no break or lunch.
Prior to the change, the center was open on Saturdays and Sundays only.
Reverse vending machines are also available at this site.
Consumers are paid five cents per container by the RVMs.
RVMs are also available in Kilauea at Common Ground, and in Hanalei in back of Papaya’s Natural Foods & Café.
