Marlene and husband Larry Moises are usually in blue to support their son who is a coach with the Waimea High School basketball program.
And, of course, since Audrey has been low key, congratulations to daughter Marissa Bonilla who got married but couldn’t be at the party since she was chaperoning some Future Farmers of America students off-island.
You just never know what you find out at these parties. Sharon Sahara is trying to figure out how to get pix of the happy cows once the cell phone ban takes effect. Sharon was there, Kathy Miyake was there, Bernie Sakoda was there. The only one missing was the fourth musketeer (is this an off-island weekend?).
Jimmy Tokioka and Roland Sagum were both there after taking in the presentation of the Hawai‘i Medal of Honor to the family of Staff Sgt. Randy Agno (hats off to Mina Morita and Aida Cruz for doing such a bang-up job with that ceremony).
OK, just in time to go check out Helaine Perel and Kara Hamada at the new Seattle’s Best cafe which is supposed to open today in Borders!
