Mr. Yoshii, the ‘White House’ caretaker, joins students of the Hydroponic club at the Elsie Wilcox Elementary School as they show off a grant for $77,945 the school received from the State Farm Youth Advisory Board, Friday at a special assembly. The grant is for improvements to the school’s 10-year-old hydroponics facility affectionately known as the ‘White House.’
