Kudos to Kaua‘i Fire Chief Robert Westerman and Mark Nellis of the Waimea Theater on another great Waimea Town Celebration! Chris Faye said these are the two individuals who took the event by the horn and pulled it all together.

Gerald Ako was stopping for a Sunday snack at 7-Eleven and said the Waimea/Hanapepe AJA baseball game got moved to this afternoon because the players were involved in the Antone Balocan Memorial Softball Tournament at the town celebration.
Just a reminder, the Waimea High School Baseball Invitational starts tomorrow in Waimea and Vidinha Stadium.
