But the project that was educational (Tyler now knows the difference between bean and pea seeds) is turning out the other way because people stop and ask them about varieties they can buy at Big Save — another reason to save the seed packets.
Jeniah Banasihan (Nicky, not Mickey’s sister) was supposed to watch a TV program, but changed her mind after that great basketball game between Ho‘ouila and Papalina-Blue (coaches Bruce Herbig, Matthew Taba and Clyde Vito were on their feet!). Too bad Jullynn (two L’s, two N’s, no E) Ramos missed out and Taylor Gaspar left too early. Oh well, there’s always Thursday night when Kaulupono plays.
Don’t forget, this Sunday is the Lawai Cannery big garage sale to benefit the Waimea High School Project Graduation. Go early and check out Lorna Santos and her crew!
