Stella Ann Matsue Kutaka of Honolulu died Jan. 6, 2010, at Saint Francis Hospice West at age 57. Born in Waimea, she was the assistant to the Trustees at Kamehameha Schools.
She is survived by her sisters Karen Kutaka of Honolulu, Judy (James) Honda of Waimea, Vivian Kutaka of Kekaha and Doris Hirabara of Honolulu; three nieces, four nephews, four grandnieces and two grandnephews.
Visitation at 10:30 a.m., service at noon, on Sunday, Jan. 24, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Inurnment at 2:30 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 29, at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens. Scattering of partial ashes at 10 a.m., on Sunday, Jan. 31, at Waimea Landing and Russian Fort.
Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.

Caridad “Carrie” Jose Regidor of Honoka‘a died Dec. 29, 2009, at North Hawai‘i Community Hospital at age 79. Born on Sept. 10, 1930, in Honoka‘a, she retired from Hamakua Medical Center.
She is survived by her sons Kalani (Donna Atay) Regidor of Pa‘auilo, Stanford (Stephanie) Regidor of Hilo and “Spanky” (Lynn) Regidor of Honoka‘a; hanai sons Bimbo Kaheiki of Hilo and Wade Kobayashi of Hilo; daughters Hue Regidor of Kilauea, Kaua‘i and Myra Kabazawa of Kalaheo; hanai daughter Cookie Peru of Kilauea, Kaua‘i; brothers Danny (Ethel) Jose of Seaside, Calif., Moke (Reba) Regidor of Kona, Albert (Stella) Regidor of Honolulu and Earl (Amy) Regidor of Kona; sisters Mary Lee of Honolulu, Ilima (Scott) Fujimoto of Honoka‘a and Pat Ebreo of Paauilo; hanai sister Aurora (Peter) Pakele of Honoka‘a; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandson; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m., Mass at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 21, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honoka‘a. Friends may call again from 8 to 10 a.m., prayer service at 10 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 22, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honoka‘a. Burial to follow at Hawai‘i Veterans Cemetery Number 2 in Hilo.
Casual attire is suggested.
