Millard Hendrickson
Millard Hendrickson of Philadelphia and Kaua‘i died Jan. 13, 2010, at Sheraton Beach at age 78. Born on March 21, 1931, in Philadelphia, he was retired.
He is survived by Debbi Scarpell of Kalaheo.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
Catherine Kiyama
Catherine Hatsue Kiyama of Honolulu died Jan. 1, 2010, at Leahi Hospital at age 94. Born on April 23, 1915, in Hilo, she was a personal housekeeper, cook and caterer.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Howard) Kaohi of Koloa; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister Jane Nikaido; brothers Reginald Nikaido, Gilbert Nikaido, George Nikaido and Ray Nikaido.
Private family services will be at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
Cynthia Masukawa
Cynthia Natsue Masukawa of Hanama‘ulu died Jan. 13, 2010, at age 56. Born on July 13, 1953, in Lihu‘e, she was a retired librarian at Kapa‘a Middle School.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Kiyoko Masukawa.
She is survived by her brother Glenn (Deanna) Masukawa of Nevada; two nephews Michael and Jonathan Masukawa of California; aunts and uncles Asako Ebata of Koloa, Aiko Tottori of Aiea, Harumi Masukawa of Kekaha, Shigeo (Tsukiko) Masukawa of Lihu‘e and Kimi Masukawa of California; and numerous cousins.
Visitation at 3 p.m., service at 4 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 17, at Lihu‘e Hongwanji Mission. Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Irene Walters
Irene Eleanor Walters of Kapa‘a died Dec. 30, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 85. Born on July 29, 1925, in Newark, N.J., she was a librarian at Saint Andrews Priory Library.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. (Ret.) Frederick Walters, and daughter Patricia Jarrett.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Kim John) Potter, and son-in-law Daniel Alcaraz.
Memorial service at 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Punchbowl Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.

Charlotte Zeeb
Charlotte E. Zeeb of Aurora, Colo., died Jan. 7, 2010, in Aurora, Colo., at age 88. Born on Feb. 16, 1921, in Scotland, S.D., she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Leonora Eisenmann.
She is survived by her husband Walter Zeeb, son Chuck (Sherry), daughter Kaki, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Horan and McConaty, Parker Road and Dartmouth in Aurora, Colo. Burial on Jan. 15, in Scotland, S.D.
Donations can be made to Island School, Kaua‘i; Denver Dumb Friends League; Parkinson’s Association; The Denver Hospice; or Episcopal Church on West Kaua‘i, ‘Ele‘ele.
