LIHU‘E — Bail for suspected burglar and thief Li‘ikaimana Damon Jack Cook is $16,000, according to the Kaua‘i Police Department.
Cook, homeless with a last known address in Kapa‘a, is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 154 pounds, and is a Native Hawaiian with brown hair and brown eyes.
He is wanted on a grand jury warrant for two counts of first-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree theft in cases where his co-defendants have already been arrested and arraigned.
Both Chelsie Malie Banasihan, 21, of Waimea, and Brad Kubisch, 24, with a last known address in Koloa, pleaded not guilty to the same charges as Cook, and have requested jury trials in state court.
Cook is also wanted on a bench warrant for contempt of court.
Also returning to the Most Wanted list is Gretchen Bueno Iloreta, 24, with a last known address in Kalaheo. She is Filipino, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 142 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She is wanted on two bench warrants for criminal contempt of court, and her total bail is $10,300.
Willis K. Kauakahi Jr., 22, is a Native Hawaiian 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes and a mustache. He has a last known address in Koloa, and might also be known as Willis Kahanu or Willis Kaukahi. He is wanted on a grand jury bench warrant for theft and forgery of a credit card, second-degree theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. His total bail is $5,000.
Jesse Carter Lay, 38, is white, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 210 pounds, and has short brown hair and brown eyes and a last known address in Kilauea. He is wanted on a grand jury bench warrant for negligent injury, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, and inattention to driving. His total bail is $3,000.
Noah Jeriamiah Elija Smazik, 26, is white, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 170 pounds, has black hair and blue eyes and a last known address in Kapa‘a. He is wanted on an arrest warrant by the Hawai‘i Paroling Authority for a parole violation. There is no bail in his case.
