Youth hoops registration this week

Registration for the county’s community youth basketball league will take place Wednesday and Thursday, states a release from the county Department of Parks and Recreation.

Boys and girls, ages 10 and 11 years old, are eligible to participate in the program which has an expected start date of Feb. 22.

Registration fee is $30 for each participant and registration will take place at the Kalaheo, Kapa‘a and Lihu‘e neighborhood centers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
