Justin A‘amakualenalena Emayo of Kekaha was born and died on Dec. 20, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his sister Kuuipo Yokoyama and grandfather Hilarrion Kalani.
He is survived by his mother Hilari Kalani; father Aldon Emayo; grandparents Denise Kalani, Sherry and Al Emayo; great-grandparents Theresa Medina, Andy and Marcia Emayo; sisters Ayrie Anna and AyrieSha Emayo; numerous aunts and uncles.
Memorial service at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 16, at Salt Pond Beach Park.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Edward Kanekoa
Edward “Sam” Kanekoa of Wailea, Maui, died Dec. 25, 2009, in Wailea, Maui, at age 65. Born on Oct. 22, 1944, in Honolulu, he was a self-employed general contractor for E.S.K Contracting.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine Kanekoa; sons Dayton (Tina Perreira) Kanekoa, Dale (Dane Sadang) Kanekoa and Dane (Heather) Kanekoa; brothers William and Reginald Kanekoa; sisters Queenie Lee, Rebecca Sialana and Moana Kaneshiro; half brothers Craig, Fuku, Darryl and Kelsey Kanekoa; and half sister Lehua Kealoha-Pauole.
Wake visitation from 6 to 9 p.m., service from 8 to 9 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Ballard Family Mortuary. Cremation to follow.
Funeral visitation from 10 a.m. to noon, service at noon, on Thursday, Jan. 7, at Ballard Family Mortuary.

Vivian De Soto Kilborn
Vivian De Soto Kilborn of Koloa died Dec. 25, 2009, at her home at age 81. Born on Dec. 2, 1928, in Kalopa, Hawai‘i, she was a retired transporter for St. Francis Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters Harol-Vie Feliciano of Colorado, Barbara (Dennis) Branco of Hilo and Valerie (William) Silva of Las Vegas; sons Pastor Harold (Christine) Kilborn of Koloa, Rodney (Cathy) Kilborn of Maui, Ricky Kilborn of Kapa‘a and Randie Kilborn of Idaho; three brothers; 20 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Visitation at 9:30 a.m., services at 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 8, at Pacific Palisades Chapel. Inurnment to follow at 1 p.m., at Punch Bowl Cemetery.

Jason Kulley
Jason B. Kulley of Lihu‘e died Dec. 19, 2009, at his home. Born in Princeton, N.J., he worked for Kaua‘i Marriott Resort and Beach Club and as a custom woodworker.
He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Josephine Kulley; siblings Joan Hogan and Daniel Kulley.
He is survived by siblings W. Robert Kulley of St. Augustine, Fla.; Barbara Perks of Plainsboro, N.J.; Walter Kulley of West, Texas; Marion Harvey of Princeton N.J.; Matthew Kulley of Kingston, N.J.; Andrew Kulley of Princeton Junction, N.J. and Michael Kulley of Bradenton, Fla.; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial gathering at 9:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Kalapaki Beach.

Sue Koga
Sue Suzuko Koga of Lihu‘e died Dec. 29, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 86. Born on Dec. 4, 1923, in Nagoya, Japan, she retired as a pantry worker with Kaua‘i Resort.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tatsuo Koga.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon (Derrick) Gusman and Luanne (Alan) Ota, both of Lihu‘e; sister Mieko (Tatsuo) Fujitani of Japan; three grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation at 10 a.m., services at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 9, at Lihu‘e Hongwanji Mission.
Casual attire suggested.
