Mahalo to Napua Costa for getting the KIF paddling results in so quickly. Ross Shimabukuro said he couldn’t get to paddling since Kaua‘i hosted soccer, and Dr. Lloyd Fujimoto (he was shooting soccer, too) is curious about getting in some paddling shots.
But Phil Tacbian was at paddling as were a lot of other parents (Kelvin Moniz said he was going to sit at the marina). It’s a good thing the Wailua Bridge construction guys take Saturday off, or it would be a nightmare. Maybe Bob Jasper can open Coco Palms for additional parking.
Manuel Henriques was at the Island School soccer complex for soccer, and now, he’s not the only one that has a Canon 7D … there was one shooting the game at Vidinha, too. The big question: when is Canon going to get enough so it comes off the backorder list?
OK, so the holidays are over. KIF has a full slate of sports starting this week. Is that why Sandi Nadatani and her girls do 6 a.m. practices? Ross said the gyms are booked to capacity.
OK, time to go check out the firecrackers.
