KAPA‘A — People wishing to enjoy Christmas turkey, ham, or other roasts can take advantage of the imu service being offered by the Kapa‘a High School girls basketball teams, Christmas Eve.
Kasa Pohiva, a player with the Warrior varsity team, said people can purchase imu service tickets from any team member of the varsity or junior varsity teams, or from Gary Maguire, head coach of the varsity team.
People supply their own turkey, ham, or roast and drop them off at the Kapa‘a High School gym on Christmas Eve between 5 and 7 p.m. The cooked items can be picked up on Christmas morning.
Tickets are $15 each and Pohiva said whatever items people wish to have cooked must be seasoned before dropping off.
During the Thanksgiving holiday, Pohiva said the team prepared almost a hundred turkeys, and due to the popularity of the imu service, are doing it again for Christmas.
The event benefits the Kapa‘a High School girls basketball program.
