LIHU‘E — Lockheed Martin employees organized and participated in a Toys for Tots benefit raffle, silent auction, and holiday dinner at Gaylord’s at Kilohana recently to benefit needy children, a press release from Lockheed Martin states.
Over $2,800 in donations was raised for Toys for Tots with support from employees of Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Kratos, and Pacific Missile Range Facility personnel. All donations will stay in Kaua‘i and benefit needy children in the area.
“Lockheed Martin is pleased to support our local Toys for Tots campaign for the third year in a row,” Jon Linke, Lockheed Martin Site Manager at PMRF, said in the release. “This effort is a great partnership between PMRF, Lockheed Martin, and other contractors located here.
“We greatly appreciate the generosity of our local businesses which makes this event such a success.”
Prizes for the raffle and silent auction were provided by local businesses including Aunty Lilikoi, Beach House Restaurant, Bull Shed, Casa Di Amici, Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa, Grove Café, Grove Farm and Pua Kea Golf Course, Holo Holo Charters, Kaua‘i Coffee, Kaua‘i Lagoons, Kaua‘i Sea Tours, Kayak Wailua, Kiahuna Golf Club, Kintaro Restaurant, Lockheed Martin, Lawa‘i Beach Resort, Na Pali Explorer, Sheraton Kaua‘i Resort, Smith’s Kaua‘i, and Waimea Plantation Cottages.
The St. Regis Princeville Resort provided the grand prize, complimentary ocean-view accommodations for two nights at their luxury resort on the North Shore, which was won by Kathy Pennock.
