The KEO Mana‘olana Emergency Homeless Shelter and Transitional Housing Program, located on 2808 Wehe Road, is getting ready to give back to the community this holiday season, according to a news release.
The staff will be preparing a breakfast for Saturday morning when about 19 temporary shelter residents will be checking out at approximately 7 a.m. The breakfast begins to be served at 7:30 a.m. for the shelter residents and then the longer-term housing program residents will be trickling in around 8:15 a.m.
The staff will then be kicking back from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lydgate Beach with a barbecue and potluck for mentors, mentees (youth) and their families, the release says.
