Arthur Brun did his usual great announcing job and JK was able to tape the second half of the Pearl City-Koloa matchup, Saturday at Vidinha Stadium (this is the last game). Mahalo to Sherry Ephan for doing a great job with the notes (and mandatories, too).
Paul Curtis was also on the sports field, being the No. 4 referee at the Mililani soccer series with two games in Kapa‘a and two games in Hanapepe.
Mahalo to Tom Vallatini who said Dunn Muramaru was coming for a coaches clinic, Saturday. Gerald Ako was able to enjoy the parade and still get up early to take in the clinic, and some of the greatest baseball coaches were there to learn from the Owls’ head coach who also brought over Craig Hayashi, Mid Pacific pitching coach.
Gayle Konishi was busy at the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School craft fair. She said one more is coming Saturday (same day as the Koloa School pancake breakfast, guys) to help band director Sarah Tochiki (they were great at the Lights on Rice parade!) with fundraising for an O‘ahu competition.
