LIHU‘E — For the first time Hawai‘i Children’s Theatre and Kaua‘i Community Players present the magical tale of “Cinderella” by Rodgers and Hammerstein. The entire family will be enchanted by this wonderful story of a girl who finds that dreams really can come true, a news release says.
Cinderella is played by Elaine Guest; her Stepmother, Shannon Link; two Stepsisters, Casia Koulbanis and Jennifer Plunkett; the King, Ron Horoshko; Queen, Delia Valentin; the Prince Sam Alfiler; Steward Lionel, Fredan Alfonso; Fairy Godmother, Dolly Kanekuni.
Directed by Ed Eaton (HCT’s director of ‘Annie’ and ‘Big River’) and set design by Eaton and Horoshko. The choreography is by Carol Culver; music/choral directing by Dolly Kanekuni; orchestra conductor Dennis McGraw; costumer Esther Manning and stage manager Melissa McFerrin. T he show is produced by Pat Hillebrand, Patty Marshall, Jeff Marshall and Debra Blachowiak.
