Kaua‘i Motocross Riders Assocation would like to invite the community to the 55th annual Labor Day races. The event will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Wailua Motocross Racetrack. To get there, watch for signs on the Lihu‘e side of the Wailua Golf Course.
This is the longest running motocross event in the nation and is guaranteed to be another “on the edge of your seat” exciting event, states a press release.
The track is in top shape, thanks to the tireless efforts of club president Paul Medeiros and his wife Sherri, along with vice president Derrick Leanio and his wife Wendy.
There are five containers of racing bikes and racers from the outer islands arriving this week to challenge Kaua‘i’s best riders.
The public is invited to come out and view both days of action. Novice and amateur riders will be on their bikes Saturday, followed by the expert class on Sunday. Each day’s events will begin at 9 a.m.
