PUHI — Lauren Kagawa, 27, of Puhi, was found dead early Monday morning outside her apartment complex, according to Kaua‘i Police Department investigators.
Police were called to Manawale‘a Street in the Ho‘okena subdivision at 7:03 a.m.
Foul play is suspected; however, the case has been classified as an unattended death pending the findings of the autopsy that will take place today, a county news release states.
Police are continuing their investigation, county officials said.
