Weston Moniz, playing in the 15-18 Championship flight, finished by carding an eagle, the only one of the tournament, on the No. 8 hole, par 4, from about 120 yards in brisk trades. Moniz had earlier carded an eagle on the No. 2, par 5, hole during the 2009 Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation season.
Despite this, Moniz finished with a +6 for third place in the flight.

Pono Tokioka finished with a +11 to top the 13-14 Championship flight over Reyn Morioka (+5) and La‘akea Warren (+5), the tie being broken by scorecard matching, the golfer with the most points on the Back Nine getting the advantage.
