Bridge club results

The Sunrise Club plays at 9 a.m. every Thursday (open game) at the Community Building in Princeville. The club welcomes North Shore visitors and part-time vacationers.

The club recently completed beginner classes. In the near future the club will conduct classes for advanced beginners and intermediates. For playing partners or information, call Lolita at 826-6805.

The Sunset Club plays at 1 p.m. every Saturday (open game) at the Community Building in Princeville. This long-established club is convenient and conducts friendly and competitive play for all island players. For playing partners or information, call Lolita at 826-6805.

Results for Saturday’s five-table, 20-player sanctioned event are: First, Loring Harkness and Dileep Bal; Second, Ann and Joe Williams; Third, Dick Shen and Doug McCalla.

The North Shore and Poalua Bridge Clubs meet every Thursday at the Sun Village Club House behind Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihu‘e. The game starts promptly at 9 a.m. and visitors are enthusiastically welcomed by club members. This is the oldest bridge club on Kaua‘i.
