Mahalo, too, to Bryan Mamaclay for the results of the Mitchell Ota match play tournament. Bryan and Wayne Miyata were out on the course along with Ron Peeren to keep everything in order.
Melissa McFerrin was at the Po‘ipu shindig — didn’t have enough time to check out Patsy Shaffer who was doing a good job with the miniature golf tournament at the Lawai Beach Resort. Congratulations to kumu hula Leina‘ala Pavao-Jardin on the accomplishment! Mahalo to Tammy Pu‘u who kept calling in the reports, and Jennie Balisacan said they remember dancing at the Queen Liliuokalani Keiki Hula Competition when it was celebrating its third or fourth year. This year marks the 34th year for the celebration at the Neal Blaisdell Center on O‘ahu (how was the Dave and Busters celebration?).
