LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation announced its 2009 preseason football schedule, Thursday.
The games will kick off with the Kapa‘a Warriors hosting Word of Life at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14 at Kapa‘a Stadium.
The following week, Waimea will take on Hawai‘i Preparatory Academy at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21 at Hanapepe Stadium.
Kaua‘i High School will complete the openers when it hosts Honoka‘a at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Vidinha Stadium.
The next weekend, all three teams will hit the road to complete their preseason slates.
Kapa‘a will take on Waiakea on Friday, Aug. 28 at Wong Stadium. The junior varsity team will play at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity at 7:30 p.m.
Kaua‘i will travel to Lahina to play Lahinaluna at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29.
Waimea finishes the action when they head to Maui to face Maui at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29.
