Phyllis Aquino
Phyllis Carol Aquino died on June 3, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nev. at the age of 60.
Born on April 1, 1949 in Washington D.C., she was a car dealership warranty administrator.
She was preceded in death by daughter Tammy Aquino.
She is survived by husband Demetrio “Don” Aquino, stepson Alvin (Doreen) Aquino and Mother Simy (Wesley) Bryant all of Las Vegas, brothers Stephen Bender of Washington D.C., Daniel and Timothy Tucker of Hawai‘i and Francis Tucker of Las Vegas and one grandchild.
Previous memorial services were held on June 13, at Palm Mortuary, Las Vegas.
Hawai‘i memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 1, at Diamond Head Memorial Park on O‘ahu, with graveside services at 10:30 a.m.
Clayton Jensen
Clayton F. Jensen of Kapa‘a, died on June 15, 2009 at Queens Medical Center, Honolulu at age 54. Born on April 10, 1955 in Bell, Calif., he was the owner of Claytons Construction and the keeper of the KQNG gorilla for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Siguard and Violet Jensen, in-laws Charlie and Patricia Williamson and brother-in-law Michael Greiner.
He is survived by his wife Beth Jensen; son Eric Jensen of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter Sheena (Chad) Adams of Novi, Mich.; brother Theron Jensen of Reno, Nev.; sister Althea (Gerald) Bennett of Long Beach, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles.
Scattering of his ashes will be done privately with his family at a later date.
A celebration of life potluck will take place at his Kapahi residence at 2 p.m., on Sunday, June 28.

Scott Dale Lanakila Cruz Wa‘alani Aviguetero died on June 20, 2009 at the age of 25. Born on July 8, 1983 in Waimea, Kaua‘i, he was the lead “Truckah” and very proud driver of the 1986 Gold Kenworth Rig W-1.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Frederic C. Aviguetero, maternal grandfather Francis Furtado, niece Anela May Nordmeier and hanai mother Barbara Wa’alani.
He is survived by his companion and girlfriend Shana Marie Amulacion; parents Douglas and June Aviguetero; sister’s Chanel (Danford) Kaeo, Raquel (Kai) Santos, Devi (Kevin) Nordmeier, Ashlee (Chad) Aviguetero, Makanoe Ayau; brothers Isaiah Kanahele, Brandon Hamada; hanai ‘ohana Rick “Truckah” Wa’alani Sr., Rileene (Palenapa) Wa’alani, Richie Wa’alani Jr., Ryan (Theresa) Wa’alani; grandparents Kaleo and Marlene Furtado; grandmother Mary Kapahu Aviguetero; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wake services with visitation at 5 p.m., on Friday, July 3, at the Garden Island Mortuary in Lawa‘i. Celebration of Life services to start at 7 p.m. Light refreshments and pupu’s will be served. Aloha Friday attire is requested.
Family and friends can visit with the family at 9 a.m. at The Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints Church Kekaha Ward — Cultural Hall, on Saturday, July 4. Celebration of Life services at 12 p.m., in the chapel with burial to follow at the Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.
