Senator Billy Fernandez is looking really good. He is a charter member of the Kaua‘i Community Federal Credit Union and was joined by George Oshita for the KCFCU groundbreaking, Monday. Kudos to Mel Chiba and all the KCFCU ‘ohana on the new headquarters.
But Jenaiah Banasihan missed that event since she was at Kalaheo cheering her sister Nicky (not Mickey!) who was playing with Arrissa Thronas and the Kaulupono girls. Brandon Palacio was enjoying the company of the Kalepa Hillsiders and sister Nicole and Mariyah Oliver (she’s on a growth thing versus a shrinking thing) were busy with scorekeeping.
If you’re looking for something to eat and drink, check out Ted Inouye and his bon dance crew at the Lihu‘e Hongwanji event…Ted said you can buy flying saucers only on Kaua‘i.
This is the time to visit David Tao, Harvey Maeda and all those car buffs at Kukui Grove Shopping Center. Make sure you have a pen…they’ve got prizes to win if you vote.
And then, it’s off to see Sharon Gibson and the Nawiliwili Yacht Club for the annual Father’s Day keiki fishing contest. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. Fishing from 11, and make room for the hot dog and soda.
