LIHU‘E — Four 12 Under and six 14 Under teams will take the floor of the Kaua‘i High School gym when the ZZ Basketball Tournament opens Thursday.
Kahuku, a team from O‘ahu, will be fielding a team for exhibition games, opening 6 p.m. Thursday against Gee’s Angels.
The tournament will start at 4 p.m. on Thursday. Seedings for the Saturday championships will be set following the Thursday and Friday games.
Gee will match up against the Westside at 4 p.m. Thursday, followed by a Hanakila 12 Under boys game against Papalina at 5 p.m.
Kahuku opens the 14 Under at 6 p.m. against Gee, followed by Kalepa taking on Kahuku at 7 p.m. A 14 Under Papalina will close the Thursday night games against Hanakila 14 Under starting at 8 p.m.
