Members of the Afterburners, winners of the Kaua‘i Mens’ Soccer Association league, will be joined by players from the other three league teams for an all-star game starting at 7 p.m., Friday at Vidinha Stadium.
That announcement was made by Sue Strickland of the KMSA who noted that the Afterburners won the league title following the Kaua‘i Cup finals played last month.
Clay McMillen scored the only goal for Afterburners in the first half of the title game against Cane Fire. That shot came after Leroy Emery’s penalty kick was stopped by Cane Fire goalie Daren Kosen.
Eli Emery capped the win on two second-half goals.
The KMSA wraps up its season with the all-star game, Friday and KMSA registered players are asked to call Eli Emery (651-7747) or Greg Strickland (651-4739) for more information.
