Joseph H. Reyes of ‘Ele‘ele died on May 26, 2009. Born July 7, 1935, he was a manager of Kaua‘i Veteran Center.
He was preceded in death by father John M. Reyes Sr., mother Lurline Ornellas, brothers Abraham Reyes and James Reyes, sisters-in-law Agnes Reyes and Emma Reyes, and son-in-law Teddy Ellamar.
He is survived by wife Theresa Reyes; daughters Brenda (Stuart) Braun, Jeannette (Jan) Ellamar, Joan (Tim) Bragalone; brothers William Reyes, John (Arlene) Reyes Jr., Solomon (Sandra) Reyes; sisters Henrietta Napolis, Helen (Lou) Ellagard; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., service at 12:30 p.m. with burial to follow, June 13, at Hanapepe Veterans Cemetery.

Alfredo Fujii Bacarro of Mililani, Hawai‘i, died on May 17, 2009 in Honolulu, Hawai‘i at age 76. Born Oct. 22, 1932, he was an iron worker/welder.
He was preceded in death by father Anglo Bacarro, mother Okimi Fujii, brother James Bacarro and son William Bacarro.
He was survived by wife Natividad Bacarro; sons Alfredo Bacarro Jr. and Renny (Suzette) Bacarro; daughters Rita Ann Moribe, Rowena Farias and Rozanne (Steven) Ladao; sisters Dorothy Bonilla and Catherine (Cereal) Fernandez; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Viewing at 9:30 a.m., June 27, at Mililani Memorial Park (mauka). Service at 10:45 a.m., burial to follow. Casual attire suggested.
Joseph Goo
Joseph Kanakahelela Goo died on June 7, 2009 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 78. Born on April 4, 1931 in Hawai‘i, he was a retired harbor maintenance worker for the State of Hawai‘i.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Luka Kanoho Goo.
He is survived by his daughters Cheryl Wailana (Dwayne) Goo Rego, Jonette Kaiulani (George) Goo Fraticelli and Terri Kapiolani Goo; son Kimo Delbert (Natalia) Cabral; 10 grandchildren; sisters Josephine (George) Kawakami and Elizabeth (Tony) Silas; brothers Hans Goo, Christian (Chaney) Goo and Charles Kim.
A celebration of life will be held at 9 a.m., services at 11 a.m., July 11, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa.

Barbara Maxine Kraft of San Antonio, Texas, died on June 1, 2009 at age 75. Born on Jan. 2, 1934, in Weston, Ore., she was a Coco Palms waitress and prep cook.
She is survived by Shannon (Wrango) Kraft of Leon, Kan.; Shemmara (Albritton) Kraft of San Antonio, Texas; son Gordon Kraft of Flagstaff, Ariz., one grandson and one great-grandchild.

Adeline Cambra Christian, of Honolulu, died on June 2, 2009 at St. Francis Hospice West at age 91. Born on May 24, 1918, in ‘Ele‘ele, she was retired from Pauoa Elementary School cafeteria.
She is survived by daughters Yvonne Mendonca of Sacramento, Calif., Eloise Graham and Charlene Gamiao of Honolulu; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation from 6-9 p.m., service at 7 p.m., June 12, at Borthwick Mortuary. Visitation continues from 8-10 a.m., service at 10 a.m., June 13, at St. Catherine Church, Kapa‘a. Inurnment to follow in Kealia Cemetery.

Tomeko Hayashi of Kapa‘a died on June 5, 2009 at Straub Clinic and Hospital, at age 80. Born in Ibaragi, Japan, she was a housewife.
She is survived by husband Clifton Hayashi, sons Wesley Hayashi and Gene Hayashi, daughters Christine Brown, six grandchildren, brother Tsugikatsu Yahara and sisters Aki Yahara and Tokiko Yahara.
