Kazue Muranaka of Kekaha died May 10, 2009, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at age 81. Born May 2, 1982, in Hule‘ia, she was a billing clerk with Garden Island Medical Group.
She is survived by son Royden Muranaka of Honolulu, daughter Laurien Muranaka of Kekaha, brothers Teruyoshi (Masako) Tamura of Puhi and Robert (Florence) Tamura of Lihu‘e, sisters Natsuka Daida of Lihu‘e and Ethel Sunada of Mililani, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were private.
