Earlier in the day, four games settled four age group championships. The top-seeded Westside Falcons were a 1-0 winner over No. 4 Kilauea Thuna last Saturday in the BU8 division. They face No. 2 seed Hanalei Poi Boyz, a 3-2 winner over No. 3 Team Onipa‘a.
Top-seeded Hilina‘i, a 1-0 winner over a hard-pressing No. 4 Northshore Storm, faces No. 2 Kaua‘i Sparks, a 1-0 winner over No. 3 KSC-Blazing Angels.
In the GU12 division, top-seeded KSC-Blazing Angels, a 5-0 winner over No. 4 Paulele, will square off against No. 2 Hawaiian Heat, a 4-1 winner over No. 3 Lokahi.
No. 1 Ha‘aheo Kaua‘i, a 12-0 winner over No. 4 Hawaiian Heat in the GU14 division, will meet No. 2 Team Onipa‘a Blue, a 2-0 winner over No. 3 Pohaku in the semifinals.
More titles are at stake when the Westside Falcons BU10, an 8-0 winner over No. 4 Pohaku, takes on No. 2 KSC-Kilauea Kilas, a 7-0 winner over Team Motiv-8, starting at 10:30 a.m.
In the BU12 division, fourth-seed Kilauea Blitz, an upset winner over the top-seeded Westside Falcons in a 1-0 shootout, squares off against No. 2 Kapa‘a Warriors, a 1-0 winner over No. 3 GIFC in another shootout. That game starts at 10:45 a.m.
Top-seeded Northshore, getting a bye in the semis, squares off against No. 2 Team Motiv-8, a 3-0 winner over Westside United, Sunday in the BU18 age group. That title game starts at 11 a.m.
No. 4 Northshore Boyz, a 1-0 winner over top-seeded Eastside Lightning in a shootout, squares off
against No. 2 GIFC, a 4-0 winner over Team Onipaz‘a in the BU14 age group.
That game starts at 12:30 p.m.
There is no admission charge to watch any of the championship contests.
