The St. Catherine School squad recently claimed its fourth Private School League basketball title, downing Kanuikapono 39-28 in the title game.

St. Catherine was the number-one seed, and Kanuikapono was the two seed. Other schools participating were St. Theresa and Island School, though in years past Kahili Adventist, Kula High & Intermediate, and Olelo Christian Academy have participated, according to a press release from St. Catherine.
On Tuesday, March 17, the St. Catherine School basketball team won their 4th consecutive championship in the Private School League (PSL). The PSL consists of private and Catholic schools on Kauai. Participating in the basketball league this year was St. Catherine and St. Theresa, Island School, Kanuikapono. Other schools not participating this year, but playing in the years past are Kahili Adventist, Kula and Olelo Christian.
The championship game was exciting and close most of the way, with St. Catherine opening up a fourth-quarter lead too much for Kanuikapono to match.
