Bart Skrbec, 53, of Kapa‘a, has been golfing for just three years, and recorded his first hole in one recently at Wailua Golf Course. He used an Adams 4 iron to ace the 14th hole. Skrbec is in IT services with iTek Services, Inc.
Pu‘uwai youth paddling begins Monday
Pu‘uwai Canoe Club leaders are starting their spring and summer paddling program at the Wailua River starting this Monday, April 6.
Registration starts at 3 p.m.
The program is open to children ages 10 to 18.
Assistant coaches are also being sought, and Pu‘uwai officials invite anyone with free time to donate to inquire.
Copies of child or young adult birth certificates are needed at registration.
