LIHU‘E — In observance of Prince Kuhio Day, county offices will be closed on Thursday, along with all refuse transfer stations and the Kaua‘i Resource Center.
The Kekaha Landfill and Puhi Metals Recycling Center will remain open during the holiday, as well as all HI-5 bottle redemption centers that are normally open on Thursdays.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on Prince Kuhio Day as well as on all other county holidays, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Residential refuse pick-up will continue as scheduled.
Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume Friday.
