HANALEI — A 26-year-old Princeville man was treated and released from Wilcox Memorial Hospital early Tuesday morning after sustaining a minor injury during a struggle with a 26-year-old Hanama‘ulu man, a county press release states.
Eric Beyan of Hanama‘ulu was arrested and charged with first degree attempted assault.
He is currently being held in police cellblock on $20,000 bail.
According to a preliminary report, the two men got into an argument in a parking lot in Hanalei town at around 1:03 a.m.
When police arrived on scene, they found the Princeville man with a laceration on his face that required stitches.
The victim was taken to Wilcox, where he was treated and released.
Police are continuing their investigation of the incident.
