Hats off to Waimea coach Michael Rita, Lois Keamoai, Jon Kobayashi and a host of other Waimea supporters for a great baseball tournament.
Teddy Pereira gets his window this week with the start of the Girls Softball Tournament in Waimea Canyon Park.
Dallas Correa, catcher for the St. Louis JV baseball team, got to come home for the championship game between Kaua‘i and St. Louis. Dallas said he’ll hopefully move up to the Crusaders’ varsity team next year.
Mahalo to Maxine Correa (she’s been wearing St. Louis colors for the whole tourney) for that delightful dessert recipe cookbook put together by Cindy Edralin to benefit multiple sclerosis. It features recipes for goodies from all kinds of well-known local residents of all ethnic backgrounds and is very unique.
It’s available only by donation to the MS cause and people have to see if Cindy still has more to offer. Maxine said the first order of 75 copies sold out so Cindy re-ordered another 100 copies and that has also been going fast.
OK, ‘nuff said … Happy Girls’ Day, Kaua‘i!
