Athletes participating in the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation arenas of swimming, paddling and JV soccer were soaked by a rain squall that passed through yesterday morning.
That was in advance of a cold front that, according to the National Weather Service, will pass over Kaua‘i and move down the state to the Big Island by tomorrow morning.
The front will make the atmosphere unstable creating the possibility of locally heavy showers and thunderstorms along the front.
Kaua‘i weather is expected to turn drier tomorrow night and remain fairly dry through most of next week, the NWS discussion states.
Another front may reach the Islands on Friday with more rain.
