Beau and Mariebeth got solid support from Joey Kirstine and Brittany Chock of the Waimea Big Blue Crew that was joined by Kayla Werner after she got through collecting tickets with Tiffany Lum.
The Clem Gomes Gym was a beehive of activity, what with Keri Blas and Gary Maguire doing video duty for Kapa‘a, and it’s nice to see Michelle Lemy and Lisa Iida behind the scorer’s table for the girls.
Basketball is now in full swing with Anahola Joel Pahukula doing the KQNG broadcasts for the boys’ games, and according to Tine Howard, live streaming video was being done at the girls’ game Wednesday night.
Was nice to chat with Greg Gonsalves at the KIF soccer games (Reggie McCabe was able to do duty collecting tickets at soccer and still make it out to Waimea to see her daughters play for Kapa‘a), and mahalo to Manny Henriques for thinking about TGI during the boys soccer matchup.
OK, so there’s still time to check out the Showtime characters at the Grove Farm museum train with Scott Johnson and Sam Maehata. Starts at 10 a.m.
