The following individuals recently launched a business, were appointed to a leadership position or honored for their work in the business community:
George Fern
President of Kaua‘i Floors, Inc. has been re-elected as President of the Hawai‘i Flooring Association. HFA is a non-profit trade association representing over 60 contractors, dealers and manufacturers engaged in the floor covering industry.
The association has a Director for each of the neighbor islands and George Fern, President of Kaua‘i Floors will serve not only as President but also as the Kaua‘i Director.
Serving as Vice-President is Leilani Olinger, President of Complete Commercial Flooring, Inc. Treasurer will be Kaleo Nakamura, Vice President of Ali‘i Flooring, Inc. while Dinah Jiraya, Office Manager/Estimator of Ray’s Carpet will serve as Secretary.
Tim Lyons, CAE, President of The Legislative Center, Inc. continues to serve as Executive Director.

President of Aloha Termite Kaua‘i, Inc. was elected as Vice-President and Kaua‘i Director of The Hawai‘i Pest Control Association, a non-profit organization.
Gary Smith, Mokihana Pest Control serves as the alternate Kaua‘i Director since Jon Montalbo, 1st Vice-President will also be the Kaua‘i Primary Director.
HPCA represents 95 percent of the pest control industry in the State of Hawai‘i. It has over 85 members including pest management professionals, pest control dealers and manufacturers.
Terrance Manago
Terrance Manago was elected as President of HPCA and is President of Integrated Pest Management. 2nd Vice-President is Dave Lau, Area Manager of Ecolab and 3rd Vice-President is Jason Sahara, Operations Manager of O‘ahu Termite and Pest Control, Inc. and the Secretary will be Shawn Murray, President of Aloha Termite and Pest Control. The Treasurer of the association is Wayne Koide, Vice-President of Environ Control.
