Russell Haluapo (he was looking for his float at the Lights on Rice parade) and Tony Ricci (he was at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting) said the Kaua‘i ride for Toys for Keiki is tomorrow at the Historic County Building. Come early and check out Santa on a motorcycle.
Congratulations to Earl Nishiguchi for another great Honorable Mention. Earl (he’s looking for a Nikon 700D) got the honor from “Scientific American” for his microscope photograpic work. And mahalo to Sheri Amimoto for making sure the Camper knew about this honor.
Arleen Yoshimori was working hard at the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting, but had enough time to talk about how excited her grandson Kobe Viloria was about starting his first game as a Lihu‘e Baseball League Red Sox player that afternoon. Kobe’s coach is grandpa Stan Yoshimori.
Aldrine Guerrero has been busy, too. He was playing with Ryan Esaki at the Chamber meeting and then joined Mary Lardizabal and the Kapa‘a Middle School kids Wednesday for their concert.
OK, time to run — it’s gingerbread house time at Kukui Grove … might get lucky and see Dean Okayama (he’ll be at Jack and Kay Leonard’s Kaua‘i Gymnastics Academy exhibition, Sunday).
And don’t forget to check out Todd Koishigawa at the baseball clinic, too. Coach Wes Masumura will be there.
