The Kaua’i Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Kaua’i Marriott Resort & Beach Club, will be having its annual general membership meeting and 20th annual silent auction on Dec. 9,at the Kaua’i Marriott Resort & Beach Club.
Sponsored by High Technology Development Corporation, this year’s theme will be “Survive The Economic Storm — Secrets of Fast Growing Small Businesses”, with key panelists Kamika Smith of Smith’s Motor Boat Service, Lori Cardenas of Aunty Lilikoi, Dave Kane of Trex Enterprises, and Rod Sueoka of Sueoka Store.
In addition to the panelists’ presentation, the chamber will also be having its 2009 Board of Directors Installation by the Honorable Judge Trudy Senda.
More than 100 items will be featured at the silent auction, which begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Registration and no-host cocktails is at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and meeting to follow. Cost is $48 for chamber members; $58 for guests/non-members; $68 late fee and at the door; table of 10 $480.
