KOLOA — The Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association announced the annual Kiahuna Junior Classic is set for this weekend.
This tournament will be the second to the last opportunity for juniors to earn points toward Player of the Year but will be the last chance to earn an invitation to play in this year’s Ulupalakua Tournament of Champions, Dec. 6 and 7 at the Wailea Golf Club. The closest point race for Player of the Year is between Alex Chiarella of Makawao and Aaron Kunitomo of Lahaina (13-14 Boys division). Chiarella currently leads by 63.3 points.
This is the Kiahuna Golf Club’s third year hosting the HSJGA’s Kiahuna Junior Classic.
