The Falcons BU10 are at 7-0 and 21 points in the Boys Under 10 division for the Kaua‘i Soccer Association league while the GIFC squad leads the BU14 division with an identical 7-0 and 21 points following six weeks of play.
Team Motiv-8, a 5-2 winner over the Lightning Chix GU10, and Pohaku, a 4-0 winner over the Southside Lunachicks, are tied for second place at 4-2 and 12 points each.
The Kaua‘i Sparks, drawing a bye this week, lead the GU10 division with a 4-2 record and a dozen points followed by the Southside Lunachicks at 2-4 and 6 points. The KSC-Blazing Angels are at third place with a 1-5 and 3 points while the Lightning Chix are seeking its first season win.
The Westside Falcons BU12-2 team eked out a 3-1 win over its counterpart BU12-1 to take the lead in the BU12 division. A second game between the two teams resulted in a 3-3 deadlock. Following Sunday’s edge, the Falcons BU12-2 improve to 3-2-2 and 11 points followed by the Falcons BU12-1 at 2-2-3 and 9 points.
The KSC-Blazing Angels GU12, a 3-0 winner over Hawaiian Heat, improve to 5-1 and 15 points while Hawaiian Heat drops to 2-3-1 and 7 points.
Lokahi, drawing a bye this week and the sole team in the GU11 division, is seeking its first season win at 0-4-2 and 2 points.
Following the GIFC in the BU14 division, the Westside Falcons BU14, taking a 1-0 forfeit win over Hawaiian Heat GU14, is in third place with a 2-5 showing and 6 points. Team Onipa‘a drops to 3-4 and 9 points for second place in the division.
Ha‘aheo Kaua‘i, shutting down Pohaku, 6-0, holds the lead for the GU14 division with a 7-1 record and 21 points while Pohaku drops to 1-3 and 3 points. Hawaiian Heat is still seeking its first season win.
Team Motiv-8 BU16 charged to a 10-2 win over Westside United to improve to 8-1 and 24 points, its only loss coming from the Westside United last week. Westside United drops to 4-4-1 and 13 points in the BU15 division after handing Lokahi GU18 an 8-4 loss.
Lokahi GU18 is still seeking its first season win.
